RoboDoc clip tells the “Robo wants an Oreo” story

The fan-funded, four-part docuseries RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop is available to watch through the Screambox streaming service, and has also received a Blu-ray release (you can pick up a copy through Amazon, or get the Walmart exclusive steelbook through the Walmart website). As fans watch the docuseries, it seems the most popular, standout moment is a sequence where weapons master Randy E. Moore talks about interacting with RoboCop star Peter Weller while holding a stack of Oreos. You can watch that clip in this embed:

From Dead Mouse Productions Ltd and Cult Screenings UK Ltd, RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop is a fully independent retrospective into the making of RoboCop and its cultural impact over the last 30 years. Supported by dozens of the original cast and crew, RoboDoc is made by fans of the movie for fans of the movie. The filmmakers conducted interviews with sixty-six cast and crew members when assembling the documentary. That includes Diane Robin, Ronny Cox, Nancy Allen, Ray Wise, director Paul Verhoeven, and of course Randy Moore and Peter Weller.

Chris Griffiths described the project as a labor of love, while Eastwood Allen had this to say about the docuseries: “We’ve crafted something together to incorporate visuals and sound in an effort to immerse viewers into the world of 80s filmmaking and offer something completely unique to the ‘making of’ format.“

Gary Smart produced RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop with Michael Perez and Hank Starrs. John Cashin, Gary Collins, Ben KB Ng, Fuad Omar, Aleksandar Smiljanic, Sean Tiedeman, and Laurence Gornall serve as executive producers.
