Christmas Bloody Christmas (2022) Revisited – Horror Movie Review
A new episode of the Revisited video series has just arrived online, and in this one we’re looking back at a movie that was just released last year, writer/director Joe Begos‘s holiday horror film Christmas Bloody Christmas – which got an 8/10 review from our own JimmyO that you can read HERE and is available to watch on the Shudder streaming service. To find out what we had to say about Christmas Bloody Christmas one year after its release, check out the video embedded above!
Christmas Bloody Christmas has the following synopsis: It’s Christmas Eve and fiery record store owner Tori Tooms just wants to get drunk and party, until the robotic Santa Claus at a nearby toy store goes haywire and makes her night more than a little complicated. Santa Claus begins a rampant killing spree through the neon-drenched snowscape against a backdrop of drugs, sex, metal and violence, ultimately forcing Tori into a blood-splattered battle for survival against the ruthless heavy metal Saint Nick himself.
The film stars Riley Dandy (That’s Amor), Jeff Daniel Phillips (Rob Zombie’s The Munsters), Abraham Benrubi (ER), Sam Delich (Spiderhead), Jonah Ray Rodrigues (Mystery Science Theater 3000), Dora Madison (Friday Night Lights), Jeremy Gardner (The Battery), Graham Skipper (Mystery Spot), Kansas Bowling (The Third Saturday in October Part V), Josh Ethier (Beyond the Gates), Elliott Gilbert (The Fandango Sisters), Adam Dietrich (The Vast of Night), Matt Mercer (Contracted), Aerial Washington (Fabulous High), and Begos himself.
The Christmas Bloody Christmas episode of Revisited was Written, Narrated, and Edited by Lance Vlcek, Produced by Tyler Nichols and John Fallon, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
