When the world took notice, world renowned diver, John Volanthen (Farrell) calls his friend and fellow diver Rick Stanton (Mortensen) believing they will be able to help. With few being able to travel so far, the Thai government allow them to assist. Ten days into the disappearance, Stanton believes that they are going in to find the boys bodies to bring them home, but when they find all twelve boys and their coach still alive, it is now a matter of bringing them out alive.

Memorable, and mesmerising biography of the story that stopped the world, and we all waited with baited breath of news of the boys. Mortensen and Farrell are both equally brilliant as polar opposites in their belief system; the more pessimistic and realist Stanton, and the optimist and hopeful Volanthen. However it is Edgerton who steals the show as Dr Harry, who is the one the men call to assist with their way they want to get the boys out – by sedating them for the entire journey.

Brilliantly shot, with tight spaces of the caves making you truly feel claustrophobic.
