Here are the nominations for the 2025 Emmy awards (updating live)
The biggest event in television is coming, but first, the announcement of the nominations for the 2025 Emmy Awards are to be revealed. This year, they are read live by What We Do in the Shadows‘ Harvey Guillén, Running Point‘s Brenda Song and Television Academy chair Cris Abrego. The 77th Annual Emmy Awards are scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 14 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The show will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Comedian Nate Bargatze will be this year’s host. Bargatze has a few stand-up comedy specials on Netflix, including Your Friend, Nate Bargatze, Nate Bargatze: The Greatest Average American and Nate Bargatze: The Tennessee Kid. He also has a comedy special, Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas, which is also streaming on Paramount+.
