Calling all Swifties for the new trailer of the Disney+ docuseries, Taylor Swift: The End of an Era
It’s been an eventful year for pop star Taylor Swift. The world saw the famous lovelorn girl-next-door singer finally get engaged to Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs (who can also be seen in Netflix’s recent Happy Gilmore 2), and she also dropped her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, which was released in tandem with a movie about the album. The tie-in movie event won its opening weekend by a wide margin while Dwayne Johnson’s big dramatic turn in The Smashing Machine got KO’ed by it.
Disney+ announced the release of a new six-episode docuseries on the last show of Swift’s much-publicized Eras Tour and will start to stream on December 12. The streamer has just dropped a new trailer for the in-depth documentary that follows the tour and all the people in Swift’s life during the tour.

Following the launch of the biggest album in history, with over 4 million equivalent album units earned in the U.S. for “The Life of a Showgirl,” the 14-time GRAMMY®-winning artist Taylor Swift returns to Disney+ with two brand-new projects that offer unprecedented access to her record-breaking tour, The Eras Tour. “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era,” a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries event chronicling the development, impact, and inner-workings that created the phenomenon that was The Eras Tour, and “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” the full concert film featuring “THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT” for the first time, begins streaming December 12 only on Disney+.
“The End of an Era” is an illuminating docuseries on Disney+ that gives an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world. In addition, the series features Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Travis Kelce, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch, along with her band, dancers, crew, and family members – offering never-before-seen insight into what it took to create a phenomenon. Two episodes will debut each week beginning December 12.
“Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” filmed in Vancouver, B.C., is the full concert film, captured during the final show of the tour, which features – for the first time – the entire set of “THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT,” which was added to the tour following that album’s release in 2024. It debuts on Disney+ December 12.
“The End of an Era” is directed by Don Argott, co-directed by Sheena M. Joyce, and produced by Object & Animal. “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show” is directed by Glenn Weiss and produced by Taylor Swift Production in association with Silent House Productions.
