Arco comes to 4K Blu-ray for an early Summer release
One of the most acclaimed animated films of the year, Arco, will be heading to your 4K Blu-ray players in just a couple of months. The Academy Award nominee will be getting an ultra-high-definition physical media release from Neon in early Summer on May 19. According to Blu-ray.com, the Ugo Bienvenu film features the voices of Mark Ruffalo, Natalie Portman, Romy Fay, and Will Ferrell.
The description reads,
“A magical and beautifully animated journey through time, Arco is a dazzling adventure about a 10-year-old boy from a peaceful, distant future who accidentally travels back to the year 2075 and discovers a world in peril. As Arco develops a charming and touching friendship with a young girl named Iris, they band together and along with her trusted robot caretaker Mikki, set out on a quest to get Arco home, while the two children may also be the only ones who can save our planet.

Our Steve Seigh couldn’t recommend the film enough in his review, giving it a perfect 10 rating and saying, “When looking back at animation in the year 2025, I can’t imagine holding a conversation about it without mentioning Arco at the top of the discussion. As I sit here and think about all the things that make for a perfect animated film, it’s challenging to see any flaws in Arco. I laughed. I cried (three times). I watched the entire movie with my jaw slack, my eyes darting from one color to the next, a fruitless attempt to commit all the hues, shades, and tinctures to memory. I desperately need to share this movie with others, and can’t wait for them to experience the magic of Bienvenu’s film for all it has to offer.”
