When does Avatar: Fire and Ash come out on digital and 4K Blu-ray?

Disney has announced that you’ll finally be able to take James Cameron‘s Avatar: Fire and Ash home on digital at the end of the month on March 31.

With Avatar: Fire and Ash, Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora in an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), and the Sully family. The film, which has a screenplay by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, and a story by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver & Josh Friedman & Shane Salerno, also stars Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, David Thewlis, Jemaine Clement, Giovanni Ribisi, Britain Dalton, Jamie Flatters, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Jack Champion, Brendan Cowell, Bailey Bass, Filip Geljo, Duane Evans, Jr., and Kate Winslet.

It was also revealed that the third entry in the Avatar franchise will be getting a physical media release with a 4K Ultra HD, 3D Blu-ray and DVD on May 19.

The official synopsis of the threequel reads,
“Return to the breathtaking world of Pandora in the most powerful chapter of the Avatar saga yet. As Jake and NeyJri guide their family through grief, they journey with the nomadic Wind Traders across Pandora’s skies. But the Sullys’ path is threatened by a new enemy — the Ash People, a warlike clan led by the fierce Varang — who have turned against Eywa and the ancient Na’vi way.”
