Full Moon is now in production on Buried Secrets, unleashing a demon from lost catacombs
Filmmaker Charles Band has a career that stretches back into the 1970s, and over the decades he has brought more than four hundred genre movies into the world. He’s best known for launching the company Full Moon, which got its start with the classic Puppet Master back in 1989. All these years later, Full Moon is still going strong – and 2026 is shaping up to be a great year for the company. They’re already made their way through production on The Grim Rapper and Models vs. Werewolves, and now filming is underway on a new horror project called Buried Secrets!
What’s on Full Moon’s 2026 slate?
A few months ago, Full Moon launched a poll for fans to choose their next several productions, with fourteen options to pick from. When the poll winners were announced, Full Moon sent the following message out to their fans: The fans voted, and the slate is locked! We put it to YOU, the Full Moon fans, to vote for what movies you want to see us make in 2026. A record number of voters chimed in and now we are proud to announce the final section of pictures going to camera this year. Each production will be shot in either Cleveland, Los Angeles, or Italy beginning in January, and we urge you get involved by joining the Full Moon Patreon program HERE. Stay tuned for more! The nine announced winners of the poll are The Grim Rapper, Models vs. Werewolves, Buried Secrets, Robotica, Dungeon Dolls, Terror Express, Lost Girl’s Private Diary, Sirens of Seduction, and Catacombs of Horror.
What is Buried Secrets?
Brooks Davis (The Gingerweed Man, Bring Her to Me) is directing Buried Secrets from a script he wrote with Neal Marshall Stevens (a.k.a. Roger Barrow, a.k.a. Benjamin Carr), based on a story by Band. It has the following synopsis:
The Lost Catacombs of Bomarzo are rumored to hold a fortune in jewels for anyone brave enough to dig them up. When a daring (or maybe foolhardy) group of young Adventurers dare to unearth the hidden graves they manage to find the treasure — but also awaken a buried demon who’s looking for blood — and for someone to take his place in the darkness.
Hope Johansen (Bound by My Fiances Uncle), Veronika Vozniak (The Mafia Princess and the New Girl), Antonia Fuller (Bones), and Bella Mraz (Professor, I’m Addicted to You) star.

Once filming wraps on Buried Secrets, Full Moon will be going directly into production on the “malfunctioning sex doll” thriller Robotica, then they’re sneaking in a movie that wasn’t on the announced slate, a killer drone project called Autonomous.
