The Mummy 4 release moves up to 2027 but Miami Vice ’85 pushed back to 2028
It wouldn’t be Friday without a little release date shuffle, and Universal Pictures has swapped two of its biggest upcoming movies. The Mummy 4, which will feature the return of Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz, was slated for a May 19, 2028 release, but it’s been bumped up to October 15, 2027. The film’s old date wasn’t left hanging, as Joseph Kosinski’s Miami Vice ’85 is now occupying the May 19, 2028, date, which is a big move from its previous August 6, 2027 date.
